Traditional Stone Holiday Cottage

Enjoy the real Cyprus with your usual holiday pleasures...

Now you can enjoy the real Cyprus without missing out on your usual holiday pleasures…

Traditional Yet Fully Modernised

Book our fully-modernised traditional stone holiday cottage and you will find yourself surrounded by the true character of an old village home but with all of today’s essential amenities and all at excellent value-for-money.

Comfortable Design

For your comfort, we offer double-glazed windows throughout in natural coloured frames that perfectly complement the rustic styling of the thick, rough-hewn stone walls.

These features not only retain warmth in the winter and keep the cottage delightfully cool in the summer but also give a very natural feel to the whole décor and ambience of the cottage.  Discrete solar panels coupled to electric boosters ensure that you will have abundant piping-hot water to ensure long luxuriating showers at any time day-or-night.

Ideal Facilities

The cottage is comprised of: a main lounge area with flat screen TV and DVD player; a full-facilities kitchen with combi microwave, kettle, etc; a cosy bedroom with double bed and ensuite shower; a separate cloakroom with modern wc & vanity unit and a sunny outside patio seating area with BBQ.

This makes our traditional stone cottage the perfect holiday accommodation for couples or up to four people with its very comfortable bed-settee.

A Beautiful Village Environment

Stepping out of the front door and across the patio will find yourselves just two minutes from the centre of the very pretty, friendly and peaceful hilltop village of Tsada with a shop for general items within easy walking distance.

Everywhere you look character abounds with brightly-coloured flower beds and boxes, gnarled timber fences, intricately carved stonework and, if you look carefully, tucked away in the small back streets you will still occasionally find the local villagers working to produce some of the delightful and wholly authentic handicrafts for which Cyprus is famous.   Check out the local coffee shops and enjoy a cup of the rich, dark local Cypriot coffee with the locals and you’ll find a welcome and genuine affection that you will rarely find on the tourist beach strip.  It is no surprise that so many people come to Cyprus year-after-year for this wonderful experience of local village life.

Highly Accessible

Hiring a car for a few days is recommended to be able to experience all the historic and cultural sites for which Cyprus is famous.  Similarly golf lovers will need a car to be able to reach the excellent 18-hole facilities of Tsada’s own Minthis Hills Golf Club which, whilst only an easy 10 minute drive from the cottage, is best reached by car.  It is, otherwise, important to note that the village of Tsada is particularly well served by public transport which in other areas is almost impossible to find.

An easy walk of just fifteen minutes finds you at the main village bus stop with a regular, clean, air-conditioned bus service that will reliably take you the quick panoramic route into the Old Town and, from there, to the harbour and main beach strip but also a similar distance to the north, in the opposite direction, into the old town of Polis with the new marina at Latchi.  Here you will find the Blue Lagoon with day trips and a wide variety of excellent water activities, boat hire, golden sandy beaches, etc.  Our guests frequently take advantage of the ideal location of our cottage and substantially reduce their holiday costs by cutting back on their number of days of car hire.

Aphrodite’s Rock Microbrewery & Brewpub

Again an easy walk of just ten to fifteen minutes from leaving the cottage will find you at our Microbrewery & Brewpub with its beautiful countryside setting amongst grapevine terraces and olive groves.

A real ‘country club’ atmosphere!  Here, at this very popular focal point for residents and holidaymakers, you can sit in our lovely stone courtyard and choose from our excellent range of handcrafted beers, lagers & ciders or all other usual bar beverages including high-quality local & imported bottled wines, spirits, jugs of delicious summer cocktails, soft drinks and freshly-squeezed local fruit juices.

Take your lunch or dinner from a good selection of favourites in our highly-regarded restaurant & pizzeria where you can dine al fresco whilst nicely shaded by our bright canopies or by the walnut, almond and mulberry trees and all at great value-for-money.  A regular entertainment programme is staged for your enjoyment featuring some of the best local performers.  During the main summer months our resident duo will perform many of the timeless ‘pop’ songs from the ‘50s to the present day and you will undoubtedly be enchanted by the quality of their voices as this talented couple bring you much of the great, and highly-moving, music from the West End and Broadway.  It’s a great way to spend your evenings after a day sight-seeing or on the beach.

Experiencing village life in this way is a wonderful holiday experience but it is important to choose your accommodation wisely.  Most holidaymakers are looking for a good mix of tradition with usual holiday facilities but many other villas and apartments are just too isolated from the pleasures that make a holiday so special.  Booking our traditional stone cottage will give you the best of all worlds with great accessibility and our local Microbrewery & Brewpub’s restaurant and entertainment facilities.

If, however, you are looking for something larger to accommodate bigger families or groups perhaps with swimming pool, etc then please contact us on 00 357 26 101446 or by email as we have negotiated special arrangements for you with one of the leading holiday villa providers in Paphos.

“Amazing stay in the
Aphrodite's Rock Brewery holiday cottage”

Tripadvisor 5* Excellent

Myself and my partner were doing a little road trip around Cyprus and wanted to visit Aphrodite's Rock Brewing Company, which meant finding somewhere to stay that was within walking distance so that we could sample the brews without having to take a taxi or drive anywhere.

Luckily, the owners have a newly-built holiday cottage and we were the first to stay there. Not having seen any photos, we didn't know what to expect but were very pleasantly suprised! It's a traditionally-built one-bedroom stone cottage, but with all the mod-cons you'd expect and was gorgeous inside and out. In fact, nicer than the luxury apartment we were staying in on the other side of the island!

It was about 15 mins walk to the brewery and in a very peaceful spot.

And, of course, like everyone else is saying the brewery itself was fantastic-- all in all a great time!
